I’ve been quiet on the publishing front lately, but there’s a lot happening behind the scenes. Over the rest of 2026, I’ll be revisiting some older work, bringing more books into print and audio, and preparing for a much more consistent run of releases in 2027.

I’m determined to come back with a bang—but writing isn’t my full-time job yet, and I have a young family, so I don’t want to fill this post with deadlines I may not be able to keep. Instead, here’s what I’m working on and where I hope it will lead.

Returning to Red Ink

The project taking up most of my attention right now is a rewrite of Red Ink, the first book in the Red Ink series. I’m not happy with the quality of the current version, and I want to turn it into a book I can feel proud to put in front of readers.

Once the rewrite is complete, I plan to re-release Red Ink and follow it soon afterwards with the second book in the series. I’m also planning print and audio editions for both books. I don’t have firm dates to share yet, but this is the clearest path back towards the regular, consistent release schedule I’m aiming for.

Breach Point in Audio and Print

I’m also working with a narrator on an audiobook edition of Breach Point, my standalone space opera. I intend to release a print edition alongside it, so readers will be able to experience the story in whichever format suits them best.

Plans for Ashes of the Waterfall

I’m also considering rewriting the latter half of Keys of the Ancients, the third book in the Ashes of the Waterfall series. There are parts of the current version that I’m not happy with, although I haven’t committed to making that change yet.

I’d also like to bring the Ashes of the Waterfall series into print and audio. Realistically, that may not happen until early 2027, but it remains an important part of my wider publishing plans.

Looking Ahead to a New Series

Alongside all of that, I’m outlining a brand-new series. It’s too early to share any details, but I’m incredibly excited about where it’s heading. If everything goes to plan, I expect to release the first three books in rapid succession in early 2027.

That’s the shape of the next several months: strengthening older books, giving readers more ways to enjoy them, and preparing a steady stream of new stories. The exact timing may change as the work progresses, but the direction is clear. I want to publish more regularly and consistently, with print and audio editions becoming a standard part of every release.
